Firetrail Designs is a mother-daughter team, Sharon and Michelle Stoffel, who share the love of design, color, fabric and creativity. With over 50 years in the fabric and craft industries between the two of them, they decided to take their experiences and create Firetrail Designs. They started in 2011 and have been excitedly working on new fabric lines and sewing patterns ever since. Although they both still have other full time jobs, it is great to have something that they are so passionate about to work on in their free time.
Both live and work in the Seattle area and love spending time out in the garden when they aren't glued to their sewing machines. Michelle has been learning more and more about long-arm quilting and Sharon is the resident pattern tester. Sometimes they can even get Stan, husband/father, in on the designing action.
Although they don't have much time to sew for themselves much anymore, Sharon and Michelle hope that their designs inspire others to treat themselves or someone special in their life with a project made from their fabrics and/or patterns.
