For Renée Nanneman, fabric designing is just another creative vision.
Inspired by an old fabric covered box, Daylily Days was Renée's first fabric collection even though her imagination and creativeness have been visible in many aspects of the needlearts for 25 years.
Renée entered the needlework market starting her publishing business, The Need'l Love Company, Inc., in 1984 with counted cross-stitch
designs. Always a step ahead of current trends, her creativity moved her exclusively cross-stitch company into the quilting industry with the publication of Woodland Threads in 1995. This first-of-its-kind book featured wool appliqué penny rugs and a variety of other needlework projects.
Renée's fabric collections with Andover Fabrics have inspired quilt books, currently available Purely Provence, Meadowsweet Home, French Farmhouse & the summer 2009 release of Cottage Garden. These books showcase the beautiful Andover fabrics created in Renée's signature color palette. A new quilt book will be available in early 2010, Blossom Lane, featuring quilts created with Blossom Lane & Itsy Bits fabrics. View Renée's publications on her website, www.needllove.com.
